1. JAMES E2 LUSBY (JULIAN C1) was born March 10, 1873 in Arkansas1, and died October 22, 1935 in Sulphur Springs, Yell County, Arkansas. He married (1) GUSSIE. He married (2) ANNIE A BARKER May 15, 1899 in Yell County, Arkansas, daughter of MORGAN BARKER and MARY CAMPBELL. She was born December 01, 1879 in Yell County, Arkansas, and died February 09, 1909 in Sulphur Springs, Yell County, Arkansas. Notes for JAMES E LUSBY: Dardanelle Post Dispatch Mr. James C. Lusby Mr. James C. Lusby, aged 63 died suddenly Tuesday morning at his home on North Main Street of a heart attack. Mr. Lusby had been a resident of Yell County practically all of his life, and for years had been engaged in building and contracting here at Danville. "Jim" Lusby was an honorable, upright Christian man and a good citizen and his untimely death is a loss to his community. Funeral services, in change of the Cornwell Funeral Home, were conducted by Rev. J.C. Dawson, of Ft. Smith, were held at the Christian Church at 2:00 o'clock yesterday afternoon, after which the remains, accompanied by a large concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends, were taken to the Sulphur Springs Cemetery where they were tenderly consigned to their last resting place. Mr. Lusby is survived by his widow and three children, Paul and Laverne Lusby of the home and Mrs. Mary Sue Ferguson, of Booneville; four sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Lena Gatlin and Miss. Byrd Lusby, of Danville, and Mrs. Mayme Choate, of Plainview, and Mrs. Jessie Lusby of Los Angeles; Harry Lusby and Morgan Lusby of Danville, and Fred L. Lusby, of Fort Smith.
